Course Overview

This 15-minute course will review imaging of foreign bodies in the musculoskeletal system. Lead by Christine Lamoureux, MD.

Learning Objectives

  1. Discuss the appearance of different types of foreign bodies in the extremities on X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
  2. Understand pitfalls in imaging interpretation of foreign bodies.
  3. Discuss benefits of employing a multimodality approach to identifying foreign bodies if necessary.
