Course Overview

This radiology CME course covers duodenal emergencies including: perforation of duodenal bulb ulcer, pancreatitis with retroperitoneal duodenal perforation, duodenal ulcer, duodenal diverticulum, duodenal hemorrhage, gallstone ileus and SMA syndrome.

Learning Objectives

  1. Learn to identify common duodenal emergencies on CT.
  2. Learn to avoid common pitfalls in evaluating the duodenum on CT.
  3. Learn to identify the misses and causes which commonly appear on QAC lists.
