Course Overview

This 15-minute radiology CME covers emergencies of the colon including: intussusception, cecal volvulus, epiploic appendagitis, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, pseudomembranous colitis, and heroin overdose.

Learning Objectives

  1. Learn to identify the misses and causes which commonly appear in QA and medical malpractice assessments.
  2. Understand latest imaging technologies to deliver continuous high quality care in radiology.
  3. Apply principles of critical thinking during the assessment and diagnosis of the patient.
