Course Overview

This is a presentation of cases procured during our routine QA review process. Cases are presented and discussed to highlight teaching points and encourage radiologists to constantly re-evaluate and assess their approach to imaging interpretation to minimize medical errors. 

Learning Objectives


  1. To review the imaging features of several common and uncommon cardiothoracic findings encountered in the emergency setting.
  2. To identify and reduce interpretation errors routinely encountered during the QA review process.
  3. To improve patient care by helping radiologists avoid common pitfalls in the diagnosis and characterization of chest findings.

Audience and Claiming Credit
